Welcome to The Hemp & Cannabis Foundation Online

We see patients at our clinics in Oregon at Portland, Bend and Medford, in Washington state at Seattle and Spokane, in Hawaii at Honolulu and Hilo, in Denver, Colorado and in Riverside in California. We will soon be opening clinics in Reno and Las Vegas, Nevada. We have helped over 24,000 patients obtain a permit to legally possess, use and grow medical marijuana.

Patients in any of the 12 states that currently allow medicinal marijuana are qualified if they've been previously diagnosed with chronic pain, chronic nausea, AIDS, cancer, glaucoma, hepatitis, chronic muscle spasms and other spastic disorders such as multiple sclerosis, seizure disorders such as epilepsy, gastrointestinal disorders such as IBS, Crohn's disease and the inability to eat, or patients who have medical treatments for other conditions that cause one of these conditions.

At our clinics, our doctors and nurses conduct a thourough physical exam. Patients must have current medical records that validate their medical condition so our physicians can review them. We do not perform diagnostic testing, so it is vital that each patient have current medical records that show a diagnosis of one of the qualifying conditions. After the physician reviews a patient's medical records, then the doctor conducts an interview with each patient, then writes several pages of medical documents that permit the patient to legally possess, use and grow medical marijuana. Our staff educates each patient about the specifics of their state's medical marijuana law, and about alternatives to smoking marijuana, such as vaporization and eating foods cooked with marijuana. We help patients locate resources to obtain medical marijuana, information and resources about growing their own and obtaining seeds or starter plants for a patient's garden.

Call our office to schedule an appointment or for further information. In Portland, call 503-281-5100; in Seattle, call 206-878-1701. For the rest of Oregon and Washington state, and for Hawaii, Colorado and California, call our toll free number, 1-800-723-0188.

Our office voice mail is available 24 hours a day, so leave a message and we will call you back right away.

Our Mission is to promote justice, freedom, and peace
with action and education.

Can-na-bis
Cannabis sativa is the oldest and most resourceful crop sown. In fact, sativa means "useful" in Latin. Industrial hemp could supply most of mankind's fuel, fiber and food needs and will be the agent of transformation for our economy away from many toxic petrochemical products to nontoxic, agriculturally based alternatives.
